Custom made, dyed and painted rope lettering belt. pictures shown of a previous commission to give you an idea of what can be done. Dyed, carved and painted rope lettering, plus a choice of nickel or brass buckle.
The leather is shaped and sized before the lettering is mapped out, hand drawn, awled, carved, painted, dyed and beeswaxed. I’ll carve icons that align with the words, like I’ve done with the Floweriny Gum on the belt pictured.
I developed the rope font myself, and it particularly suits western themes, lyrics and phrases.

As it is a custom made belt, I'll work with you on the phrase and which icons/images you wish to include. I'd suggest something with a maximum of about 24/25 letters, but will depend on word length. My favourite icons to carve are native flowers, musical instruments, and vintage cars.

This belt takes time, please allow 2-4 weeks from ordering.
